Please help. So i have 3 ads on donedeal for shoes. I recieved a text message without a number and just the name V!. This set off alarm bells immidiately. He offered me the full amount for the three shoes and pay for the postage and packaging. He told me the shoes were for his son who is studying abroad while he is working in the UK at the moment. He then sent me the address of his son which is a Nigerian address. I am wondering if i recieve the money through paypal and then wait for a few days and transfer the money to my bank account can this money now be refunded out of my bank account because that is what i am worried about. I am a genuine seller of these shoes. I have heard before of scams where the money is refunded once the items have been shipped and i do not want this to happen to me.

So he's in the UK (allegedly) and his son is in Nigeria (scam spotted already) and goes on an Irish advert site to pay via paypal in Euros, full whack including postage to nigeria with no questions asked.

And you ask if its a scam?
