    Hi guys,
    Hoping somebody might be able to give me an idea of how much a 4mx4m standard sunroom would cost, standard finishing, 2 velux windows etc etc. The house is a semi detached just outside Dublin. Just ballpark figures just to make sure im not getting ripped off.
    :pac::confused::confused:

    Cheers

    Is this to be used for 2, 3 or 4 seasons per year?

    What’s the floor area of the existing house? and m2 of existing glazing? & propsed m2 of glazing? (as per Part L building regs table 2)
    What way will the room be facing ?
    you’ll need a substantially insulated roof & floor, and solar over heating analysis + the above ratio to decide on the glass spec

    Can’t give a price

    It's a new sunroom extends onto the back of a semi detached area. It's facing west to South. Would just be looking for a ball park estimate for just a standard 4x4. Thanks anyway

    25k-30k.

    Cant get a realistic ball park until you specify the roof build up, insulation and exact specs of the glass to be used.

    Just a comment.

    If you plan on accessing the sun room via current patio doors leave the patio doors in place.
    That way you can actually close off the sun room from the rest of the house and keep heat loss down during the winter.

    This is the issue

    Under part L keeping a space separated by doors, is the only way a ‘standard’ ‘sun room’ could comply.

    the OPs requirements here are tricky, ‘sun room’ and ‘4 season’ don’t really stack up
