Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aguero for me,he was unlucky not to be on the end of a few more last night.

    Aguero.

Though I'm tempted by Salah. I think Pool/Spurs may be high scoring.

Sanchez is the pick here but I don't currently have him and im struggling to come up with a way to get him.

The two highest scoring players in the game are Salah and Sterling, so I'll go with one of those.

    They are so consistent!

Perhaps a better approach would be a 3 GW pick on either of these 2 as oppose to a Aguero/Kane/Aguero flip flop

    Sanchez, because I have him.

If the poll continues like this I'll keep aguero for another week before getting kane back

    Aguero again for me.

Looks like I’ll be hoping another of my players doesn’t score so
    Fun

Toss up between Salah/KDB/Sterling. Still undecided.

It's a tough one, in tough away games Aguero and sterling can both pop up with the goods. Aguero is the logical choice but sterling could be a handy differential

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,170 ✭✭✭pimpmyhat

    Sanchez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,916 ✭✭✭2nd Row Donkey

    Harry Kun.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,831 ✭✭✭shineon23

I've got stung by captaining players against Burnley in the past but Aguero it is.

Slightly tempted by Kane but I'll resist. Might even have Sanchez in before tomorrow

    Mahrez............... Maybe

I suppose, with the amount of people who have sold him, he's bound to get something!! :pac:

This is what I'm tending towards as well.

I can almost envisage Sterling doing nothing for the whole game, and then pop up in the last ten minutes for the winner! :pac:

Auba because I'm behind and need a differential.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,353 ✭✭✭Porthallian

Kun captainers not concerned about Burnley's home defensive record?

He's ill, suffering from a fever according to Wenger. Will be assessed tomorrow. I'd say he'll start from the bench.

Truly an arsenal player. Sick already.

    Kane (C)
    Aguero (VC)

Liverpool and Spurs will both attack. Games involving Liverpool and teams that attack = goals.
City away to a good defensive team.

    On the flip side -
Burnely have conceded 9 goals in 12 home games so far this season.
Liverpool have conceded 7 in 12 but you could argue visiting teams at Anfield tend to be more defensively minded with Man United being a glaring example. City and Arsenal were the exceptions. City scored 3. Arsenal got bet 4 zip. Now come Spurs. There will be goals hopefully at both ends.

I've gone with Sterling (C) and Vardy (VC).

I'm half tempted to take a gamble on Walcott but will probably go with Salah.

Sitting very comfy in the Sanchez camp, after last week's disaster I'm hoping for a decent performance from Utd.

Sure its Aguero in a city team that's free scoring. If it was Kane everybody would be captaining him.
A look there and he has scored 6 goals in the last 5 meetings against them, he knows where the net is.

Did him the first week he played for Everton and he got nice assist, didn't captain him last week and he got two goals and bps..it's tempting but gonna go aguero again and VC A-boomerang.

    San(C)hez in and armbanded.

    Looked at my captains for the season so far;
    Consistently boring.
Only captained a midfielder once. Got vice captain changed to a midfielder on one other occasion.

    I've gone with;
    Kane: 13 Times
    Aguero: 5 Times
    Lukaku: 4 Times
    Salah: 2 Times (1 and 1 VC)
    Morata: 1 time
