How to preserve wooden shed against a fence

    Looking for some advice/help please.

    We bought this house a couple years back and its got a lovely wooden shed about 20 foot x 12 foot on concrete base.
    Trouble is they placed the shed too close to the wooden fence. One side of the shed (one of the the 20 foot long sides) is only one inch from a wooden fence that separates our garden from neighbours.
    The other 3 sides of the shed are in perfect condition but that side against the fence appears to be completely untreated.

    So how can I treat/preserve the fence on that side? The roof is a slanted tiled roof. It very slightly overhangs the fence that the shed is built up against.

    Any ideas? I'm completely stumped and bloody frustrated :)

    If it's too heavy to move (12x20ft = heavy) then the good news is that the fence side won't get much weathering due to the fence. Is it possible to remove the planks of the fence from the neighbours side and get at it that way?

    How about also adding a valance to the side of the shed over the top of the fence.

    I know from experience anything close of against a wooden shed stops the wood drying out so it stays damp all the time and rots out quicker. A strip of lead (or something cheaper) attached under the eves of the shed might stop that side of the shed getting and staying wet. Also a gutter on that side might help?

    Same issue here, smaller shed though. Like mentioned above, I used a sprayer with a long arm to get between the shed and wall. That side wasn't weathered as much as the exposed sides.

    I was in a similar position in my last house. It had a wooden shed which was only accessible from two sides. It was about 5 years old when I moved in. I used to treat the two accessible sides. 20 years later I moved out and the untreated sides were still intact but very faded. I wouldn't worry about it.
