Eir broadband installation timeline?

    Hi,

    What is the turn around time for Eir to install a broadband connection?

    I phoned Sky 7 weeks and i'm still waiting for broadband!

    Should normally be within 30 days for the slowest type, but Sky have a history of getting totally confused when it comes to new line orders.

    Cheers Ed, I've taken 2 days off for an engineer and they were a no show both times. I've had to get a mobile wifi from Eir to keep me going. I wonder if Sky will reimburse me for the extra costs they caused!
    Sky are ringing me tomorrow. Unless they sort it by the end of the week i'll go with someone else.

    If the issue lies with KNN just not coming then you're SOL as a new order with a new provider will still go right back to them. If the issue is the order is wrong (thanks to sky), then it may help.
