Blogging chat on Reddit

If anyone wants access they should PM "wendydoll" here on boards, with their Reddit username. She's a Mod over on Reddit, so its up to her who gets approved. A lot of people with no posts are currently requesting access over on Reddit so I don't think those people will be accepted in case they're sh*t stirrers, but she will probably accept anyone who is coming over from Boards.

I can understand how MUF edits/curates Instagram pics but how would she do it on Snapchat? None of the filters can do that and even the ones that slightly can are very obvious that they're a filter with bunny ears for example. She looked quite trim today and does go to the gym a lot!

As Anna said, if you PM Wendy when you make an account with your username she’ll approve you and we’ll help show you the ropes, it’s far more active than Boards.

Sorry to butt in, but I think you would be better off with your own subreddit rather than posting in a "megathread" (just checked that link from the post above).

Also, I highly recommend using the Reddit Enhancement Suite FF/Chrome addon for sorting / hiding comments. Takes a little bit of setting up, but it's worth it.

Edit- if you looked at the link from the beginning of this thread its changed in the last few days to a private subreddit group with limited access.

Folks can you stop asking me to add you the private reddit group if you have no history posting on the blogging thread here!

It's literally wasting your time and mine because I once I see you haven't contributed to the blogging threads I just delete the message. Those on reddit that have no posting history on reddit aren't getting access and it's the same over here. In the interest of fairness it's the same rule across the board.

I don't have a Reddit account either. I looked at the main page and ran it scared me off :eek: If I set up an account in my username from here Wendy can I ask you to add me in please? I think it will take me some time to get used to it but there is ziltch happening here lately and I miss it.

Reddit is grand, once you get used to it. I used to be the same but I enjoy it now. There's loads of interesting subs on it.

Thanks so much, I'm so used to it here for navigating but if everyone else can manage I'll get there. I've been missing you all strangely :P I haven't been able to see CBB yet too which is my other love so feeling very sad for myself and can't go there for fear of spoilers which is hell. I have a binge catch up with a few days off ahead of me, so happy. I set up under my name and have sent a message to Wendy so hopefully see you all there soon.

It was moved to private in the last few days because it was constantly being attacked by trolls.
It's already been picked up by the media after what happened over the weekend.
You'll see a few posts above that only posters who are active in the social media forums will be added

It’s honestly so fab over there, so many like minded people. Loads have moved over from Boards the last few days and they seem to be getting on really well. Looking forward to seeing you over there x

There's the original thread which is public in a general forum.
There's a MUF and other threads are in a private forum called ibloggerchat. So if you can get into ibloggerchat, you'll see the MUF thread and all the rest of the different threads.

Hi Emmser did you hear back yet? I’m waiting and not sure how I can see if wendydoll received my PM? With all the MUF stuff today I’m dying to get back to Reddit! I was only getting hooked on it when it went private so typical!

Public Blogger chat on Reddit is here. If you've been chatting in the main one previously, then you can apply for the private group iBloggerChat. It had to be made private after a flood of trolls.

Any reason for the strictness of access on the ibloggerchat? I've never posted in any of the threads but like reading them (pure nosiness). I didn't PM wendydoll for access because she was pretty clear that only people who normally post & chat will be allowed. Just wondering if since the big fuss has died down a bit there's probably less likely to be a bunch of trolls & could the subreddit be made open again?

The public thread is still open and can be used for discussion. I think it's strict because the amount of trolls and threats people were getting and to be honest it's pretty unfair to expect to be given access to view a discussion you don't want to take part in

Yeah, especially considering trolls have threatened to expose a good couple of members real identities and inform their employers, it just has to be this way.

The only way to get in is by making contributions on the public thread and I think that’s more than fair.

I think it’s fair tbh. I mean I get that people lurk and that’s grand but the public one is grand for that. I think the fact that the trolls ruined it for everyone and it just a precaution and they every right to do that, especially for the regular posters on the thread

By 'clique' I meant a group of people with shared interests and people deciding who gets in, stays in or are let go. I meant no insult.

People were randomly removed the night private posts were copied and pasted in the public thread threatening to doxx people. That meant the private group had a mole and the moderators are working through accounts to readd them when we could be sure the poster was genuine, but TBH bad mouthing the group is a sure fire way to stay excluded
