What does it mean in a land title when the dead say "The devolution of the property is subject to the provisions of Part
II of the Succession Act, 1965"

I presume it means the registered owner is deceased and the property hasn't been registered to a new owner yet. You can see Part II here: http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/1965/act/27/enacted/en/html

    Thanks for the reply.
The property was later registered to a different person. The deeds show this was done two years later and shows a " a land cert application number" Is this how it would be if it was left in a will to this person or have tgey applied for ownership after the dead of the initial owner?
    Thanks
