Stag in Wexford town

I am considering Wexford town as a venue for my stag party and want to gauge the views and opinions of locals and people familiar with the place. I spent a weekend there with my fiancee last year and like the feel of the town.
There would be a group of 20-25, mostly in their early 40s. Mostly country lads from Tipp and Cork who won't cause any bother.

Are the hotels, pubs and restaurants in the town generally welcoming of stags? Are there any recommended places to stay, eat or drink?
The date is in July so I presume early booking would be essential at the height of the tourist season.

Monck Street for pubs and nite club.
Pubs in the town are used to crowds so no problems with stags.

I am having my hen in Clayton Whites Hotel in March
They have been lovely to deal with and have made booking a group painless
