Ron Simmons will say "Damn", and it still won't be funny.

I'm assuming most of these legends are just going to be involved in someone cringe party segment backstage, where Ron is going to sign the thing off with a damn. Awful. :o

With Bruce Prichard's current appeal he could get a lot of time. Will we see an actual Brother Love show/segment?

i imagine a heel tag team will be attacked by the APA and/or Dudley boyz

DX will have a comedy segment, same with Godfather, brother love

Taker will have his few mins, same with Cena

Possibly not many matches on the show

    apparently https://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/wwe-raw-25-expected-bigger-post-wrestlemania-episode

Im gonna guess that will be The Revival :mad::mad:

I can see strowman running through legends, next thing, he's standing over good old JR, glass shatters, oh hell yeah, here he comes with the bmf walk, strowman knocks him down, and is ready to destroy him , but wait, break it down, its DX, they storm the ring and take Strowman out with all their finishers, that finishes with a pedigree, and Triple H stands tall as we go off the air

Find it hard to buy into the APA since their prime in the Attitude Era.

Simmons has been milking a really lame gimmick and catchphrase anytime he has appeared in the last decade. That, and JBL really isn't APA Bradshaw if you catch my drift. If JBL is making a significant appearance it should be as rich 'murican John Bradshaw Layfield.

While Ted DiBiase laughs and Hacksaw Jim Duggan goes HOOOO! Which then leads to Godfather showing up and then Teddy Long dances with the 'Ho Train' before Sgt. Slaughter says "pipe down maggots" to probably canned laughter while I hope they get paid for turning up to do a 30 second skit.

We're basically looking at a 3hr version of the gimmick battle royal

Had they done a gimmick Royal Rumble I'd watch it out of a morbid curiosity :o

Yeah, this will definitely happen unfortunately. Same every time.

I know his podcast is popular but can't see Prichard getting much air time. I'd say he'll be involved in something like the segment mentioned above.

I hope they don't make a fool of Bischoff in some segment. Forget all the WCW stuff, he was the best Raw GM in history for me. Please keep Stephanie away from him.

To be honest I would not be surprised at all if the only air time Prichard gets is the white suit been shown on tv.

    This later please.

Taker as the American Badass gimmick as opposed to the cringing Deadman gimmick that ran its course in 1994.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,372 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

No way Taker appears as the American Badass. It would be awesome but I think the ABA is judged as such a little part of his legacy.

Yeah I agree. Shame really it was his best run.

I really don't want to have to hear more Rest in Peace cobblers ever again.

Then everyone's reaction to all these people showing up to do little will be summed up when Punk comes out and is given a live mic

Brother Love show featuring Braun please. Have been watching old BL segments and he'll mouth off to anyone including Hogan and Warrior. Preaching obnoxiously to Braun about how he hasn't been showing love and the ensuing falll out would be gas craic altogether.

I couldn't stand him as that version. "Booger Red"...the worst name of all time.

Haha yeah dreadful that. Big Evil was pretty cool though. American Badass too.

Much prefer this entrance to any Deadman nonsense.

I wonder if HBK, Taker, Hall etc show up at the Manhattan center because they were on the first Raw? Or are the buildings close to each other?

Remember WWE pretended that match never happened? They think their audience are complete idiots.

No what did they do? In the build in to the 2nd WM match?

    http://variety.com/2018/tv/news/wwe-set-to-celebrate-raw-anniversary-amid-speculation-about-the-companys-future-1202670259/

Says in the article above that 1 hour will be broadcast from the Manhattan centre and 2 hours from the Barclays centre.

Thought they would have gone back and forth through out the night.

I see wwe.com ran a poll to see who people wanted to get a stunner tonight, and the winner was Roman Reigns, lol

WWE will spin that as "Roman wins popular fan vote"

I think im probably the only person here but for some reason im not really looking forward to tonights Raw , Yea it will be cool to see some of the legends pop up but the fact its the PG Era(or whatever its called now) which means the characters wont be allowed to say what would have gotten them over all those years ago etc.

I'm looking forward to Miz winning the IC title again.

Anything that involves Roman losing makes it at least a decent show.

Have to say they did a good job fitting the Ruthless Aggression intro to the current era.

Raw Is War Attitude Era Intro not so much....but I think that's more down to the clash in styles being too wide. Grit v clean aesthetic.....doesn't work.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,372 ✭✭✭ShagNastii

It's so cool that it's in the Manhattan centre. Bound to add a special feel to it.

What I'm not looking forward to is the current roster looking useless to please the legends. As someone else said, we'll have a current team in The Revival getting fed to the likes of APA and the Dudleys. Because it worked out well for the Ascension after they were fed the same way
