seen Def Leppard twice and always enjoyed them but meh about this one

they always bring quality support line ups over with them but I've never heard of cheap trick

I'll decide closer to the day but it's still a long way away

Saw Cheap Trick when they played the Olympia a few years ago, great band, and their latest album is really good, too.

Was a bit meh after seeing Leppard a few times, but Hysteria and the Trick might just persuade me to go.

Surprised you never heard of Cheap Trick, great band on the go a long time. If you get a chance listen to these albums Heaven Tonight, Cheap Trick, Dream Police and Live at Budokan. There are plenty more great albums.

Cheap Trick's "In Color" is also well worth investigation.

Seems to be the way it's going now, how many dates in UK/Ireland, 11, how much interest will be generated on the ticket sales in the next 10 months.

I remember going to see Def Leppard out of curiosity in McGonagles in front of maybe three or four hundred people. I think they had a number one album in the US and UK at the time and were playing a warm up gig in a small venue off South Anne Street. It was a pretty impressive show and the sound absolutely fantastic for that place. They played the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at Wembley Stadium a few days later.

Was at that one myself. Great gig. Also saw Ozzy in there. Another warm up gig.

Don't think Ozzy's was a warm up gig, he did a tour of UK/Irl playing tiny venues

As for warm up gigs i miss them, seen Metallica in August '87 in the 100 Club in London, tiny venue, never been so hot at a gig in all me life, pit was INSANE!!

Compared to some prices of greet the meat that 586euro is relatively cheap, not that i'd do it for a second, in my day we'd just hang around the hotel/backstage

truth is none of these bands want too meet you and money is the only factor for them too do so

they could not give a bollocks how many of there gigs you saw, how u collected this rare piece of memorabilia, how they insipred you etc

the way to do it is run free meet and greet comps but too much money to be lost

Ok, I am a big DL fan, and believe this gig to be a memorable one, playing Hysteria in its entirety! wow.. cannot miss this!!! Saw Leppard 8 times, and have to say they sound better musically each time. Of course, age comes to play here; Elliott cannot hit the high notes but still can entertain and deliver a great show.

And really looking forward to seeing Cheap Trick, I have never seen them play live before.
