    Yes exactly!

If I got to 82 years of age and I had to cut some old wrinkly *****rs toe nails.... I’d just end it

It has to be the most awkward thing I'v seen on a show in a long time.
"Can you thing of anything else you can do for me".The face on Amanda. :(

Lordie , am I the only one who thinks Ann wasn't jealous at all ?

Her comments reminded me of what my Mam would have said tbh ," geez that wouldn't cover what God gave you " , but not in a jealous way at all .

That's the best thing about the thread though , interesting to read everyones differing opinions :pac:

    I say what I see Mam :o:D
She comes across as a bitter woman. One who really doesnt care for a younger prettier girl. There was no need for the remark, it was pure jealousy, not a "mammy/short dress remark" (and I cant stand Ashley tbh)

She holds a VERY high opinion of herself and seems to feel she is owed respect. And does some serious throwing of toys out of the pram if she doesnt get it.

And actually, I have no idea why she is in there under the "year of the woman" thing. She has some VERY odd ideas about womens roles that suggest she feels men are to be treated differntly than woman, with a sort of reverance of something. Very odd tbh coupled with her views on stay at home/working mothers.

Can you tell I dont like the old bag :D:D

For me it doesn't really matter the reason, she's just being hateful. What does it matter what bit of A's dress went where? Ann's just overbearing and judgemental. She thinks she's one of those 'not like other women' people but she's sitting there bitching playing into the very stereotype she thinks she rises above.

But she's just as much entitled to be in there and voice her views as any other women in there who are more liberally minded! Just because you may not agree with her pov doesn't/shouldn't negate her authority to represent. I'm sure there are a lot of viewers who find her conservative views quite refreshing. There's something for everyone, innit!

Agreed but it was Ashley that encouraged Andrew to do it. It was basically just a dare, I really think Ann took it too far instead of just moving on swiftly.

i presume the idea was to have women with different views on different topics represented. so in that regard ann does represent a view all be it an old school view.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

Her viewpoint is of course valid, its just one I dont agree with. :)
I cant abide her "jolly hockey sticks/Catholic" ethos
I think shes what the producers needed to add entertainment to the show.
Without her (now that India is gone, there would be no drama)
The old curmudgeon who everyone Wants to like and be respectful of, but she just turns out to be a horror of an individual.
She loves the attentions of men.....and holds them with a certain old fashioned regard, which irks me. Her hissy fit with Andrew was way OTT and really struck me as total attention seeking worthy of young wans on FB these days :D
I think thats why I find it odd that her viewpoints would go hand in hand with the theme that the show started out with, liberation of women.

Nasty young people just become nasty old people sadly.
    She winds me up :pac::pac:

Agreed and you can add Ashuwine to that list also :pac:

I love the difference of opinions, its the whole point of a show like BB. Its a social experiment at the end of the day, different people see different things :)

Also FUKC off 503 messages

Completely off topic but one day I was in the shop and someone said to another "I forgot what I was going to say."
The response was the old saying " must have been a lie then."

    :D

The cheek of Ann really though, disparaging Big Brother viewers when she's taking the paycheck made possible by the viewership.

How many nominees are there for a double eviction?

You made me think of another reason why I dont like Ann :o:D

She is one of those people that can talk out of both sides of her mouth at the one time.

I don't think there's ever a set amount for any kind of eviction. It depends on how many are nominated/how the producers want to play the vote.

At first I was surprised John got nominated but then come to think about it from what we've seen he has probably gelled more overall with the women of the house, which is a bit ironic him being a footballer.
Really want to see who picked who.

I'm guessing 3, and the one with most saves will be safe. But we'll have to wait and see.

Now that its out, can anyone think why they voted for John? Seems an odd choice tbh. He seems very likeable

If this version of India had been in the house I would have been a fan. WHY did she carry on like that in the house?
