    Hi

Looking to buy a house in Rush , Co Dublin

What estates have pyrite and are a no go ?

I know Taylours point and Ravenswell have had pyrite.

What others have history of pyrite?

    Thanks

    How about Brookford ?

I heard Brookford was ok as regards Pyrite.

I believe the houses that were fixed up are like new. Spoke to a few and they are very happy with their "new" homes. I would worry about buying in Ravenswell.

Once you make sure you get a valid green cert for the house you should be OK. If its a semi d I'd make sure the neighboring house has one as well.

Read thread title as 'pirate in bush'.

    Very disappointed.

Lusk Village Estate has it as well, know some people who have to move out soon for it to be fixed.

That's an older estate built in a time that predates the Pyrite problems as far as I am aware.

Does anyone have any idea as to how widespread the damage is in Brookford?
