He may still pull on green yet...of the Irish variety.

He won’t be overly happy with his 2nd 40 though. Still it’s early days and he has to learn the systems. One good thing is that his size & power attracts defenders and creates gaps. Might not get selected next week, we see.

Watching Leinster this season is like watching the ABs...now will we win but by how much

Leo Cullen is an incredible leader. Asked to comment on having such skillful forwards, he immediately deflects credit to the academy and Lancaster and claimed no credit for himself. Excellent leadership.

I'll get into the game properly later but what a way for McGrath to respond to Cooney's performance yesterday. He was excellent. Really exciting to see 4 international quality 9s at all the provinces.

As said here though, Isa MOTM for me. The best foreign import ever? Definitely up there.

One thing that goes unnoticed from Lowe is his attitude. Sprinting from one wing to the other to give the forwards a pat on the back after a good scrum. It's a small thing but it's always nice to see.

Great win. Home quarter final secured. Job done

Our bench was as expected excellent coming on. Ryan makes yards every carry and Porter showed some great hands on a couple of occasions. Glad B Byrne throwing was steady too as he adds alot around the park.

Ryan was excellent when he came on. Must've carried 8 or 9 times in the 15 minutes he was on the field. And when he wasn't carrying h was hitting rucks. Huge workrate.

I thought Porter was excellent when he came on including one really tidy breakdown penalty win. It's remarkable how quickly he has come along and I reckon he could well be Irish back up by the end of the year.

Ross Byrne looks a far more assured player than he was a year ago. He doesn't have a couple of horror shots at goal each game and his distribution is more fluid and accurate. Hopefully he gets the level of confidence that Sexton has where he gets his hands on the ball twice in a move. Currently he's purely the first receiver and then we generally don't see him until after the next phase.

His defending continues to impress me. Right in the thick of it again.

the cullen/ lanscater ticket is understed brilliant - was wary of cullen when he first came in, thought he'd be a stop gap, after MOC - but he's been brilliant, and lancaster has been a revelation since what must have been a WC embarrassment.

There is no debate as far as I am concerned. We have seen some fantastic imports, from Pienaar in Ulster to Stander in Munster, Aki in Connacht and Brad Thorn and Rocky Elsom in Leinster, to name just a few. But Nacewa is by far the best ever, for any province, period.

When you consider his talent, his contribution and the length of his career here, there is no one even CLOSE. He has been nothing short of incredible. Phenomenal natural footballing skills coupled with pace and balance, an amazing utility player who can play in multiple positions across the park, very high rugby IQ, an excellent kicker and a natural leader to boot. Whatever about the All Blacks, he would have walked into any other side in the world IMHO.

Agree with all that. Brilliant player, and one I still think should start any big game for his leadership and adaptability. He’s also an enforcer, hits hard for his size. When did he bulk up? He was pretty slight in comparison when he first came over in 2008.

I’ll be disappointed if there isnt multiple social media pages and petitions asking for an Isa statue to be erected in the RDS after he retires.

You forgot bravery. That's what comes to my mind first when thinking about Isa. Even the fact that he entertained the idea of coming back to a game like rugby after two years off. Then going through with it, and delivering the consistency and level of commitment. The guy is a total legend. And a really cool guy, a real gentleman, by all accounts.

I don't think it has to be the last, but it more than likely will be.

Part of me wants him to finish while he's still playing great rugby. Another year might be a stretch.

He'll be 36 at the end of the season, I'd be surprised if he even wanted to play another year.

Would love to see him stay on in a coaching role of some capacity.

Fun match to be at. Became a fairly sloppy game (no pun intended) early on when Glasgow fell of a bunch of tackles and Leinster collectively realised they weren't here to play.

Good collisions early on but it quickly turned into a pro14 game albeit with one team way way above pro14 level. I'm glad Leinster started like they meant business and then let the performances of each team dictate the pace of the game as opposed to relying on the fixture to do so and ending up with a narrow enough score.

We look great with ball in hand, forwards and backs. Our breakdown work is almost perfect, committing just the right numbers putting just enough pressure to slow or jackle but without risking penalties.

Super discipline throughout.

Henshaw and Isa both superb, absolutely top drawer. Luke McGrath and Sexton both pulled the strings nicely and had good technical games with a few line breaks a piece. Larmour had a good shift defensively, made a cover tackle early on that was critical and Ferg had a quiet but effective game. Lowe was quality, he's really physical and gives us a wide threat that's unique to our other options. He's like a mix of Isa and George North and will hopefully turn out as close to their level as possible.

Jordi Murphy will be a big loss, playing great stuff. VDF had 5 tackles on the clock within a few minutes of kick off and was still hard at it well into the second half, what an engine.

Fardy is ridiculous, don't think it matters who the opposition is or what stage the game is at, he just hits everything and then shows his athleticism with a few tries as he's at it. Cullen made a brilliant call getting him on board this season, we're blessed to have him.

Bench had a good impact but the game was well over. Little to be read into it all but great position to be in.

Moment of the game was at around 60 minutes when Lowe let the bun down. My 7 year old said "that guy who had his hair up has really long hair, it's like a girls" and then 2 random strangers sitting around us simultaneously said 'you should go down there and tell him that...'

4 Points next week, we should expect to win every game we play from now on - no backing down.

Strange to think back now to the early days when he had a few less than sparkling outing at 10, and people were wondering had we bought a new Eddie Hekanui.

(It might be argued too, that Christian Cullen was the best ever import. Unfortunately, his career highlights reel was in the can by time he got here. But God, there was a sploosh of a 15. A man can die happy if he saw nothing else of life but Cullen counter attack from deep).
