Good Time was really good low budget flick. Pattinson is excellent in it.

Hmmm, i’ve just added Good Time to My List but it appears to be a Chinese series......

Was searching for something earlier and noticed Jawbone is on Netflix.
A bleak but excellent film about an ex boxer struggling to survive.

Started watching that American Horror Story. So far decent enough, 6 season of it hope its not drawn out. Its about an old house and its current owners the spirits of those who died/murdered in the house still hang around. Jessica Lange is in it, she's pretty great!

I only watch a bit of the first season (I keep meaning to go back) but as far as I can tell, each season deals with a different story so I don't think it gets drawn out.

Each one a totally different story with some of the same cast. Lady GaGa in one of the series.

Watched The End of the ****ing World and really enjoyed it - 8 episodes, all about 20 mins long, and it zips along without ever flagging. The two young actors in the central roles are just fantastic in it.

Bushwick is a thriller about a young woman and a Gulf war veteran trying to make their way across New York during an attempted coup by a far right militia. The plot is complete B movie territory but it's handled well and the main cast of Dave Bautista and Brittany Snow do a great job It seems to end quite abruptly but that's a minor enough quibble. It's nothing earth-shattering and its plot really is beyond far-fetched but it's an enjoyable watch.

Yep, been meaning to watch the rest of them.

For those who don't know, this was a Channel 4 production and they aired just the first episode on TV last October and then briefly told people while the credits rolled to watch the rest of the series only on All4 (their own streaming service) - and I get the impression, like myself, that not many did.

It's now been getting great reviews since hitting Netflix... can't help but think they should have just aired it weekly.

Any recommendations for a series with short episodes (20\30 minutes ) that myself and herself could watch over dinner in the evening ??
    Something lighthearted!
We watched the entire US office over a few months and loved it .

For nightime viewing I think we will give Dark a go next week

Lovesick is excellent, if you haven't already watched it.
