JFK transfer time

Hi looking at going to Vegas, flights im hoping to book has a one hour transfer time through JFK.
Question is one hour too little time to make the connection?

An hour sounds tight, but if it's booked as a single ticket then the airline will have to ensure you make the flights. Otherwise, they'll put you on the next flight free of charge.

Not a chance if you have to change terminal.

Depends whether you have to change terminal and whether your bags are going through to your final destination. Also as above if you’re booked as a package flight they will have given you enough time to get to your next flight.

And on whether you're doing immigration pre-clearance before your first leg, or whether you have to negotiate immigration at JFK.

But, as others have said, if an airline books you this as a two-segment flight, if you miss the connection it's their problem, not yours.

Same terminal no problem as you will arrive as a domestic passenger (Aer Lingus to Jet Blue, Delta to Delta)

Different terminal no chance as a trip on the inter terminal train and security screening queue awaits
