Google maps vs Sygic maps

    Hi,
    Is their any advantage in buying Sygic map than using Google maps. I used the trial version and seems like the map updates are very slow with sygic. A 4 month old round about is yet to update in sygic map

    As I see you're learning to drive, I'm guessing this request is in the wrong forum!

    It's completely up to you whether you want to go for a paid app vs the free google one. I've never had an issue with Google Maps, but when I was starting to drive I had a TomTom Satnav as a just-in-case.

    Could you try a route using both or the top rated on the Apple / Android store?

    With using google maps, as their is no line assistance, I am feeling some trouble with immediate line changing in unfamiliar roads.

    The only reason to use something else than Google is that google maps will use data in navigation mode.
    If you have a phone plan with lots of data then stick with google maps

    To download a map in Google maps for offline:
    Open Google maps. Settings. Offline maps. Select your own map. Select the required area.
