Over the past few weeks a lot trees beside the houses at the entrance (northern one) to Balrothery have been cut down. Looks quite drastic and I wonder who did it and why?
Place looks a bit bare without them and the houses much more exposed.

I spotted that this morning. Looks bloody awful with a lot of litter around too. Maybe the trees were being used as cover for 'antisocial behaviour'?

I noticed that myself they would have been doing a great job of cutting down the noise from the road for the people that live there, maybe it's part of the big clean up the council are doing around the place they have done a great job at the main entrance.
