Rain has been very intense here NW Clare for over an hour now. Looking at radar would indicate that there may be some flooding issues. Land already saturated which will lead to excess water on roads.

Yesterday's highest gust = 104 km/h - knowing that wind gauge is placed in temporary (a bit sheltered) location and knowing from my experience that that particular location gives approx. 25-30% lower wind speed readings I'm pretty sure real wind gust was approx 130 km/h. Especially same evening highest gust @ Knock airport located just few miles away recorded 155 km/h. Or maybe even more (please confirm if anyone knows exact figure).
