nurses and doctors who get their free training here should have to put in a certain number of years here afterwards. nobody is forcing them to choose that career

Broadcasters will never tackle the unions on their stranglehold of the sector and their resistance to even the most minor changes.

'i want my free education then I want to feck off, look after four patients, have a sleeping pod, pay no tax and continue to moan about the Irish system as opposed to trying to be part of the solution and challenging the chinks in the system'

Comparing the likes of Saudi to Ireland is just plain ridiculous. What sort of incentives do nurses want to come back and work here? They should be happy to work here and put something back into the country that reared and educated them.

Can you imagine the union reaction to her suggestion?

Ah come on now, the years when nurses could play the 'poor mouth' are long gone.

Rose sounds like a typical hypochondriac bed blocker. If I was that bad, there's no way I'd sit there for 23 hours in a hard chair.

Because the unions run Monrose as well , they would call an all out strike if anyone challenged them there ..... might be no harm .
