Yup agree Ann will definitely be Kim in the fact that she won't get on with anyone else and will find something to argue about. She's in there to start arguments

It wasn't too bad of an episode it has potential I think.
As I said launch night I don't see Ann and Ashley getting on at all

Which lassie has the stationary face, I thought it was Ashley?

Also, is Jess wearing contacts, her eyes are bizarre yet mesmerising.

    Stationary face is Makalaka

Jess isn't wearing contacts, they are her natural eyes. She mentioned it in one of the little chats

How many different names have you used now :pac:

I'm gonna go with "acquaintance of reality tv stars" as her name.

Confirmed on BOTS that the towels with names on them were actually indicating who should sleep where. So Ann was correct and India wasn't. Should add fuel to the fire when that is revealed
BB doesn't usually do this, do they? Also why didn't BB clarify it especially when both Ann & India were in the Diary Room. Whiffs of stupid immaturity and crappy ****stiring from BB.

    Or StayFace for short :)

Just catching up on BOTS while I admire and applaud Maggie for her involvement in the Rochdale grooming case I don't want her to win the show for that. Ultimately this is an entertainment show and if she just sits there and does nothing she doesn't deserve to win.

It's very early in the show and things will change when the men go in but I enjoyed the show last night and the conversations between the ladies. It certainly make a pleasant change from screeching drunken tantrums from the Made in Geordie Shore with only my Essex Ex reality tv gang.

Correct, it's usually first come first serve for beds. And I agree BB used it to stir the pot, but it was a bit more subtle than their usual approach at least.

Yup for sure. I still think she will walk it, but first night suggests she'll be undeserving. They are already all sucking up to her(bar Ann who basically cut her off at one point, go Ann!), so it could be tough to see the real her.

Totally agree with you... I think it was you who said in another post that it’s not the pride of Britain awards and that’s spot on imo

Didn’t see it last night, but kept very well up to date from the thread!!

Have to agree. Also, and maybe I'm too cynical but it seemed a bit exploitative. Maybe that's too strong a word. Don't get me wrong, what she did was wonderful, as were the actions of the sexual health worker who was the driving force from the very beginning, and she deserves recognition for that but celeb bb is not the place.
The fact she mentioned writing the letters to the girls to explain being there etc cause she couldn't tell people and she doesnt want to let them down....it just seemed a bit hollow her saying that on live tv when she's right there going in anyway despite how the girls may feel. I dunno maybe I'm too sensitive or cynical. It just doesnt sit right with me. Not judging her character, just the situation doesn't sit right with me and I can't place my finger on the exact reasons. It's more than her not being a "celeb" though, i think it's the fact that there are vulnerable girls behind her story and it's like it's not only her story to tell. I dunno I can't word it.

Yep, it's a weird one for sure. On one hand maybe she is spreading awareness, and might be donating any profits she makes to the charities in question.

On the other hand, if she is profiting from it in any way, that's wrong on so many levels.

Either way, if she ain't entertaining us couch slobs, she can fvkc right off back to saving the world.

I'm assuming any winnings/profits will be donated, I didn't even doubt that tbh, but i dont think it makes it any better. I dunno maybe it will become more clear with time. Raising awareness on celeb bb just isn't the place imo. And its not entertaining like you say!

That was me who said that. From the outset I didn't think this was the appropriate platform for her, whatever she has done she is not a celeb and most definitely not the kind of one that this show is built around.

And now that she's in there, I feel even more uncomfortable about it. She should of course talk about what happened and be recognised for her good work but on the likes of Newsnight, not feckin celebrity big brother! Doesn't sit right with me at all and I just hope she doesn't win out of misguided political correctness.

It could be a good platform to get through to people who wouldn't watch Newsnight or read the papers. But on balance I doubt it.

I fear C5 will shy away from pointing out the groups responsible for the grooming. It has been overwhelmingly carried out by Pakistani Muslim grooming gangs. Far too political for Celebrity Big Brother though.

CBB has been a success because it is desperate lowlife last chance saloon washed up idiots scrambling over each others' withered carcasses to win the worst vote known to man.

If they try and make it moral and thoughtful it could well be the death knell. Time will tell though. I have every faith in CH5 to fvck it up either way.

We're not happy when the made in the only way is ex on the goerdie shore gang go in or the more serious folk go in, seems we will only be satisfied when the hulkster goes in.

I don't think Maggie should be in there for the same reasons as others have mentioned. But I like the mix of the other HM's so far. A first day without 2 awful bags of trash slobbering away at each others faces is nice.

Edit: just want to add I didn't mention the point you made about HH. Because well I think you know where I stand on that :D

Now I don't have Channel 5 (sorry to bring up channels again IBC) but I missed some years before TV3 got the rights post Channel 4. Wasn't Rylan's husband in CBB because he was one of the detectives on Operation Yewtree and that's how they got introduced?

I don't mind Maggie there. Rather here than some Geordie Shore, MIC, TOWIE or whatever show.

He was, but it was regular BB not CBB.

Sorry MelanieC, as I said, totally agree! Can’t seem to articulate as well as you!

from what i remember she talked about it on the live feed on launch night. they went to a break when it was getting interesting though.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

Bored of India and her transgender talk, I don't care.

I'd say Ann is at the stage of her life where she doesn't give a fcuk who she offends for the opinions she truly holds. I respect that.
