Which game series should I start first, Jak&Daxter or Ratchet&Clank?

I haven't played any games from both series. I'm mainly looking for one that has some fun levels, stuff to collect, and good gameplay overall.

I'd vote for Ratchet and Clank. Always preferred them to the J&D games. The remake of the first R&C came out not too long ago, amazing game imo! Plus R&C have waaaaaay better weapons!
