Konqueror double-click

    Three separate mouse issues here:

    (Mandrake 9.1/KDE 3.1)

1- More Mouse) Trying to disable the slightly annoying single-click to open option in Konqueror. I'd like to be able to single-click on a directory and, say, rename it rather than havng it automatically open, and double-click, windows-style to open it. Config/KDE/peripherals.mouse has double-click to open selected. I've deselected it, reselected it, saved options, rebooted several times, but the behaviour stays the same in Konqueror (browsing locally).

2- Less Mouse) Shift-insert to paste in terminals. With previous versions of Linux/Unix, this option was always available by default. Currently, shift-insert only pastes what's been copied to the clipboard by from non-terminal applications. E.g, if I highlight a word in Mozilla and Ctrl-insert or Ctrl-C it, I can paste it to the terminal with Shift-insert, but if I highlight a word in the terminal I can only paste it by middle-clicking or drag-dropping. Annoying to have to reach for the mouse every time.

3- Less Mouse) An easier way to move back/up a directory in Konqueror than having to click on the up/back arrows. Backspace to move up a directory for example.

I don't use KDE so I dunno about the others, but
the answer to 3 is [ALT]-[UPARROW]!

    ALT-BACKARROW takes you back.
