um - why is no,one realising it was oakley who gave the keys to damien? - even damien when asked couldnt say who gave him the keys to the centre, im confused!

I don't think Damien knows who gave him the keys, the letter wasn't signed, it just said heres a place to go for some peace and quiet. Plus now hes in the cult he wont want to point the finger.

The only person who knows it was Oakley is Oakley himself (though Charlotte suspects him, as she is pretty much the only person who knows what he is really like).

Is it just me or did FC just totally drop the Charlotte/Oakley story?

10 days ago he was threatening her with her past, she had a chaperon and their interaction was centre stage.

Now she's going around warning people about him without fear of the consequences.

Sometimes the lack of consistency in FC storylines is bizarre. Melanie's quick infatuation with Mondo at Christmas was out of character for a strong lady.

Good point. In the same vein, do we know where Debbie lives now that she broke up with Tommy? She's hardly in the cult house, maybe with Katy in Ciaran's flat?

Good episode tonight. I know Oakley is evil but lets not forget Manson is just as bad, don't forget she got Hannah to sleep with Emmet, threatened to have her thrown out of the cult then nearly made her suicidal after 2 solid days of brainwashing and then she ended up in hospital. And now she takes 15 thousand just like that!

It will be interesting to explore the history between Oakley and Manson, that's where this next few weeks is going to focus. And I really hope Pete gets blown up, he really has turned into an insufferable character!

Marcus Lambe and Sorcha Fox are outstanding as Manson and Oakely, no doubt.

Had to laugh at that zoned out smile on Emmet's face tonight when he was handing out those homemade chocolates which (literally) looked like s***e. I wonder if he made them himself? :P
And re that Miriam/Oakley hug - have you ever seen a more awkward embrace?

I thought there would be a twist and it would be Doug - who seemed to suffer the lesser injuries of the two - that'd die of internal bleeding. That episode was way too hyped because it literally came to nothing.

A hospital doctor - he mentioned when he made his appearance first while in conversation with a colleague re the Hannah situation that their place of work was St Catherine's - which I assume is a hospital.

That's just part of the FC daftness, I think. Yet another dropped/hastily forgotten storyline.

I actually like Melanie - I know she's sort of sharp tongued but she's one of the better female characters. I only hope to God the writers don't come up with the 'bright idea'' to match her up with Paul Brennan!
