What are the topics on HL Maths by paper?

    Can somebody provide me a list of topics that come up on both paper 1 and 2 higher level please,

    This is the way that I break it down. Not a complete list of everything that has to be learned but a good starting point.

    Remember that topics technically can appear on either paper. Trigonometry often appears on Paper 1 (generally Pythagoras). Calculus can appear on Paper 2 (max and mins for example).

    Area and Volume is a topic that appears regularly on both.

    If you have any questions feel free to ask. Like I said the document might be a good starting point for your own revision but there are things on it that would need to be clarified. For example, the 5 Junior Cert Proofs are on this document and the proofs of these is not required. A couple of the learned off things appear in the table also but maybe in a different way.
