    Anyway, for the season that’s in it, I’ve written a wee song about a red-nosed Christmas hero (who is still in my team because of Morata's idiocy)...


    THOMAS THE TWO-POINT WONDER


    Thomas the two-point wonder
    Rarely got into the goals.
    And if you ever saw him
    The reason you would surely know.

    All of the other players
    Used to laugh and call him names.
    They never let poor Thomas
    Off the bench for any games.

    Then one busy Christmas week,
    I needed him to play.
    “Morata’s gone, Lukaku’s shyte,
    Won’t you score my goals tonight?”

    Then how his team-mates loved him,
    When he scored a great hattie.
    We still call him TPT -
    The first T now stands for Tweeeeenty.
