Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi,
    im looking to buy bitcoin or ether just small amounts,anyone selling that can meet face to face.The fees at present are to expensive for purcahsing.Im in dublin 15 but can travel anywhere in dublin.

    How do you sell BTC face to face anyway?!

    If its not confimed on blockchain then it didnt happen.
    If its confirmed then you are paying a fee. (assuming you want it confirmed anytime this decade)

    well one way to avoid transaction fees face to face is to sell with hardware wallett included i.e. no movement of BTC actually occurs. It is very risky though unless the new owner of the hardware wallet is completely sure the old user cannot regain access.

    But there never is any "actual BTC", all there ever is is a ledger of transactions.

    Even giving someone a hardware wallet isnt enough, they can restore their wallet on another device, transfer the money and you are left with a nice empty wallet as soon as you sync it.
