Along with the training facilities and the academy; two pretty important parts of a club's infrastructure.

Biggest result of the weekend with Chelsea losing today.
Two horse race from here on in and no matter what happens tomorrow, there's no way I can see City dropping more points then utd before the end of the season.

I still think that Chelsea will finish closer to us (points-wise) than utd, and I'm reluctant to count either of them out, even if we take care of business tomorrow.

Maybe, but they'll still be a distant second.

    Brilliant result

    Lots of salt on the match thread. Still; excellent result, although winning at Old Trafford isn't a big deal really. That's five times in the last 7 visits there now;
    6-1
    2-1
    3-0
    2-4
    0-0
    2-1
    2-1

And it has to be said; the likes of Southampton, Huddersfield and West Ham gave us far harder games.

Ah come on winning at Old Trafford is a great result, why are you putting down the achievement, probably our hardest game of the season.
Great result and all with out Aguero.

It's not the great result it used to be. We went donkey's years getting the square root of fcuk all there (1974-2008). Nowadays, apart from the obvious pleasure of quietening down the rabble, it isn't as big an achievement as it used to be. Those stats I posted earlier prove it. Anyway; we need another professional performance at Swansea on wednesday night, otherwise the result today will not count for as much. Utd are at home to Bournemouth the same night (3 pts pretty much guaranteed there) and Chelsea are at Huddersfield the night before (again, more or less a guaranteed 3 pts). So we need to keep going.

I have been saying for years that city been the better squad, but I think your wrong, winning at old Trafford is a major achievement. Any other season united would be top of the league, we have a serious serious team and that wasn't an easy win by no margin.
You see right but Swansea a regulation team should be mince meat for that squad and is a cert 3 points there is up sets of course but I don't expect to drop points there as same as I don't Chelsea or United to.

Apparently, Mourinho was unhappy at our players playing loud music and whooping and shouting in their dressing room after the game. He asked for them to turn the music down and to show some respect. The myth doing the rounds now is that Ederson came out and threw a glass of milk over Mourinho. How dairy! It's a bit rich though, Mourinho looking for respect. He's spent the last few days accusing our players of diving and of tactically fouling. Respect is a two way thing Jose.

Such a shame City's camera weren't allowed access by united. Would've made for some quality post match footage for the film

If you're on about the bust up, forget it. It would never see the light of day. Amazon Prime are doing a behind the scenes documentary with City this season, but I doubt if they'll be allowed to use that footage, if they got it.

Remember thinking the exact same thing last year when we got Monaco... can't afford to be nonchalant about it. Thankfully our squad is better so just need to be professional and kill the game in the fist leg.

Oh amazing to get the win yesterday. Very surreal looking at the table and seeing an 11 points gap.... soak it in lads and enjoy it. It will be unlikely to happen again in our lifetime (be leading the league so comfortably). We have the comfort of focusing on the cups now knowing we can rest key players in the league for more important games (within reason obv).

No one's taking anything nonchalantly. Seeing who we might have got, it isn't the worst of draws. That's all I'm saying.

Totally agree, and honestly couldn't have hand picked a better draw.

Am sure Pep will have the players in the right frame of mind for it anyway.

From looking at the draw, you have to imagine the final 8 will be as follows:

City, man utd, liverpool, Juventus, bayern, Barcelona, PSG and Roma.

If that was the case, would love to get drawn with liverpool.

Hi folks. Long time reader, small time poster! Just wondering if there is anyone on this thread heading to Swansea tomorrow night? Travelling on my own for this one, normally have a mate travel too. Looking for a drinking buddy(s)!

You done well to snare yourself a ticket; they're normally like gold dust for away games. High points requirement too, so seasoncard holders would usually snap them up. Anyway; enjoy the game, AND BRING BACK THE RIGHT RESULT!

Aww I’m in my 17th year as a season ticket holder. Add another 10 onto that for the old man. I do 10-12 away games a year, lot of family in Manchester so the money I save on hotels & stuff I use for away days. Oddly enough there’s still tickets available on open sale for the City end tomorrow night. 7:45 kick off with a 8 hour round trip from Manchester the week before Xmas doesn’t help.

Had no idea you were a ST holder. I doff my cap to you. I try to get over to three or four home games games a season, work and finances permitting.
