Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I suppose the big question is whether Exeter can find a chink in Leinster’s larmour...

What a godawful time for a match

I think Leinster will win this with a TBP to be honest.

Well don't have BT. Is this on the radio anywhere?

Might be an extended off the ball for it?

I'd be worried about this one tbh. Two strong teams and home advantage is always a help.

Yeah, OTB covered the Munster game last night.

Edit: They're on air until seven this evening, so presumably covering it. although there's also a Manchester derby going on too.

Eh little optimistic I think. Exeter by a couple of points. They've a very very good team.

I think we'll be lucky with an LBP.

I realise pretty much all the English sides have been shown up as poor this weekend, but Exeter (and sarries) are different.
It's a settled, well drilled, powerful and fit exeter team. It's a very good, but a quite unsettled leinster team. I've a feeling it will be a low scoring game where a yellow card might be the difference.

OTB have the football on live and it clashes with the rugby so I doubt it. RTE maybe.

    Leinster to win comfortably enough.

I think a Leinster TBP win is very ambitious. I won't complain if it happens though! I just think we'll be lucky to get out there with an LBP.

2 hour window courtesy of the Sarries Clermont postponement allowed me get to the gym, then pick up some Weißwurst, Bretzel and Pilsner for this.

Unlucky. Only a g** hair in it. Superb play and awareness

In the absence of anything definitive they need to award it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Henshaw tackled off the ball ignored there. No try then its a penalty

I don't agree with that, nothing clear about that at all unless they showed something in the ground that we can't see here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,977 ✭✭✭Soups123

In the absence of anything definitive they need to award it.

They couldn't find an angle to call that out so it should have been given

    Safe home call

Jesus Poite. Poor choice of question

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,354 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

FFS. Robbed. Shaggin TMO was telling the ref he had asked the wrong question!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

    That's total bollix

If this isn't given it will be a very very harsh opening 15 for Leinster.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,087 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Poite looked amazed when the TMO said you could award that.

What's the reason for not awarding that?

He was totally correct. He asked try yes or no.

Seriously for f**ks sake. That's an awful f**king decision.

    Wrong question asked by Poite

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Don't know how anyone could question Poite there, he's absolutely right. No angle of the try being scored at all

    Stheno wrote: »

Poite didn't see the grounding, so the TMO had to have clear video evidence of it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

    Exeter a mile offside there.

Which is the wrong question. Also anyone watching the video knows he scored..

Poite said when he looked it was held up which is why he asked try yes or no.

He never saw it grounded at any point, he can’t ask the any reason not to award it question.
