    Hi Guys,
We in the middle of our build, we are using 80mm PIR board, just wondering how hard i be should be on the blocklayers installing the board. I notice one or two cased where the board was not interlocking and just about touching. I take it the least amount of exposed innner leaf the better. We are also going have 50 mm insulated boad on the inside.
    Thanks and advance,

    Very hard.

Every gap in the thermal layer is you spending money to heat outside the house.

Fyi and off topic but your wall buildup spec is quite poor.
And back on topic, excuse the pun but you should be coming down on your blocklayer like a ton of bricks. You are actually better off with no insulation in the cavity than poorly fitted boards.
