I have seriously over done the jalapeno peppers on the already spicy chilli I made. I don't want to start contemplating my poor belly in the morning:(

I've had two "arguments" (people being dicks, me calling them out for being dicks, and them admitting within a few hours that they were, indeed, dicks) today and I AM EXHAUSTED.

    People are fcuking draining.

Bloggers and thier posting quotes from people I’ve never heard of with passive aggressive language and things like “it’s not a reflection on you” and “that’s their issue”.
Ol’ Pipp used never be one for it but has gotten bad lately.
Rise the eff above it or moan at your friends over wine.

I hate all that passive aggressive stuff on social media, it looks so childish.

I got trapped in a never ending cycle of doom at the self service checkout today:

    *Scans item
    *Puts item in bagging area
"Unexpected item in bagging area. Please remove item"
    *Removes item
"Item removed from bagging area. Place item in bagging area"
    *Puts item in bagging area
"Unexpected item in bagging area. Please remove item"
    *Removes item
"Item removed from bagging area. Place item in bagging area"

Repeat until will to live had been depleted.

Not a staff member in sight

Did you know Sainsbury's in the UK have their bagging areas opposite to where ours are ?

2 minutes, 14 loud "F***S SAKE"' s and one will to live gone later and the one by Manchester Oxford Road (and Hamid sho works there and who has the patience of a saint) taught me that!

TA at the Tipperary Crystal ad. They are using the tune of "It's a long way to Tipperary", which is associated with World War 1. As a descendant of a soldier who did not return from that war, I find it distasteful to hear that music being used for an ad. Also TA for being so precious about this.

I'm TAd that there are people out there who go to extraordinary lengths to be offended by something.

Baggot St is full of ****. Saw a plonker on a penny farthing bicycle before and you'll see plenty of jabronis commuting on these children's flicker scooters and skateboards too. All while they've a company lanyard around their neck... good God I feel a rant coming on...

TA the first sentence of this quote has me roaring laughing at the mental image. You don't see that down the country.

TA Johnny Hallyday died last night, he was an icon back in France (singer). His voice and style were never really my thing but he had this sort of talent that reaches out so everyone knew the songs and the man, and everyone liked at least a couple of songs. The man was a pretty likable character, sort of like Elvis persona with a down to earth side he wasn't afraid to show.
He was part of the French culture really, I think most French people of the older generations feel they have lost an old friend.

Waiting behind a lady to finish tagging off at the Luas so I can do so when some bint comes from the other direction and tries to tag on/off before me. Shut her right down with a full body block and an intense glare that left her in no doubt her d*ck move was not appreciated!

discovered this morning I left the front door unlocked when I was going to bed last night. this is just the latest absent minded thing I've done recently. last week I came home from work to find one of the rings on the hob turned on with a lid of a saucepan sitting on top of it. and I don't remember turning on the hob. I hadn't used it since lunchtime the day before and never ever use it in the mornings! don't know what is more frightening - me getting absent minded or an intruder getting into my house!

Was woken by the wind hitting off the letterbox at 3am, every time I tried to get back to sleep it would rattle again. Eventually resigned myself to getting up and taping it down. Got back into bed, same again. This time just from the outside, which I hadn't taped down.
No solution to fix it without waking the whole house. Now awake since 3am. Its gonna be a loooooong day :(
