Replacing a sawtooth hook on back of mirror?

The protruding part of a saw hook on the back of a mirror, of about a metre in height, snapped off. It does not seem to have been secured with screws.

Is there somewhere I can pick up a replacement, and what is the best way to secure it to the frame board so that I can put this back up without worrying the mirror is going to fall and break?

Maybe I would be better off putting two screws on either side of the frame and some twine between them?

2 eyehooks and a string is the best way as long as the wood is suitable.
