Looking like Robbie finding out Dan raped Aoife will be Christmas too. Just the way the story has slowed right down.

Any help? Our RTE has been knocked off for ages and I've no idea what's going on. Last we saw, KT had just locked Oisin up. In usual FC style, some stories have appeared from nowhere and some are lurching from one bizarre point to another.

Katy went to Donegal to a retreat or something funded by Miriam/phoenix way. Katy then showed up after a while and was going to write and article and Tommy talked her out of it.
Rose went to Galway because a woman fell over a chicken and broke her leg.
Caoimhe and Damien broke up and had several fights about who was going to look after Saoirse. Damien gets angry and calls women names. He had something with Hayley and he thought they were lovers. Hayley didn't agree and Damien got angry. Mark showed up and was also Angry and Mark poured Coffee on Tommy's laptop and Damien took the blame.
Carol's father showed up and was dying. A load of annoying scenes with him and Cathal trying to get Dan in trouble. Carol pinched he fathers heart and he later died. Carol began to drink and gave a woman called Karen a job in The Station. It turned put that Karen thought she was Robbie's long lost daughter. After Carol drinking more and thinking that Karen and Robbie were having an affair and a very long DNA test wait it turned out he wasn't. Karen's mother showed up and it turned out Robbie was the dad and he raped Karen's mother when they were in the Army.
Then there's the Phoenix way. Doug joined it and became a handy man and Pete wasn't impressed. Doug decided that the Phoenix was a scam after a while. Hannah had moods swings/breakdown and a Dr Oakley. turned up and drugged her and she ended up in A&E and Miriam left and was sacked from the Phoenix way due to her practices. She reappeared and set up her own group. Her main follower is Emmett and he is totally obsessed with the group.
Miriam's group is now run out of Eoghan's house and they have regular chants. Debbie wasn't happy and this was mainly caused by her asking to remove he shoes. Doug is obsessed with wanting to expose the group and keeps on popping up and he is backed up by Debbie now. There plans generally fall flat on there face.
Kerri-Anne and Decco were having trouble starting a family. Kerri-Anne has a condition. Everything is Decco's(according to Kerri-Anne)fault and they went a counselor who knew Cristiano. The counselor is probably the worst counselor in the world. Kerri-Anne and Mondo had an affair and Kerri-Ann keeps on saying she's leaving Decco but she won't. Ray, Mondo's ex-girlfriend, the counselor, Juliet, Ama all know about the Affair.
Paul and Niamh bought Vino's. The helped out for a few episodes and Marcus returned and offered Niamh a job of running a 5 star hotel in Fiji despite her having no experience.
Wayne and Delores had a bit of a battle over him selling cars out of the charity shop. hey eventually agreed that Wayne could have the front of the shop and the Charity shop could be in the back room.

Even if she hadn't lost her husband there's every chance that she'd be off screen for this length of time, they're notorious for just dropping characters for months.

What is with Fair City and getting rid of characters by sending them off too far away places? Jo on west coast of America and Niamh to Fiji, both never too be seen again, they could have done it in a better way, way back when the plan was going on, they could have made her exit cooler.

I agree 100%, for me it was a very well acted episode, especially the scene where Karen found out her mother was raped. They just gave it to the viewer both barrels very entertaining. And Manson was even more chilling that usual. Just bringing up Charlottes Dad like that in front of everyone then not even a flinch when Charlotte stormed out in tears-"Now, lets continue". Evil monster :mad::eek:

If Manson manages to suck in a Bishop, then this is one dangerous cult indeed.

The only downside? Nicola. Why exactly is she back, shes no good without Niamh, just a pointless character.
