The leap card validation yoke beside the driver on Bus Eireann buses.

Stop. taking. your. f*cking. card. up. too. early. It has not registered your card yet. There are a good yard of people behind you waiting to get on. And I am getting off at the next jaysisin stop!

Honestly? About 30 school kids did it today in a row. I ended up just getting off and walking. Bus didn't even pass me out.

Oh and another one about my morning commute... The train from Balbriggan to Malahide is perfectly timed so that I just miss the 102 bus to Swords every morning by a HAIR and have to wait 15 mins for the next one.

Public transport in general needs to f*Ck off and die, frankly.

Got a 2 week ban on a Reddit today, for what was basically a difference of opinion, not an actual rule violation. I'm bored with Reddit anyway, so I might not bother going back. I'm not angry: I'm disappointed. So it's not so much a rage-quit as a ... disenchant-quit?

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

That time of year again - how can some car insurance quotes be 50-100% more than others?
I have decades of clean driving, some are so mad (4 figure sums) I'm getting anxious that my present insurer has made a mistake (better pay up quick!)

I've been swearing like a docker with tourettes at work all day, so I have evened it out.

Stupid system to end all systems has more bugs than anything.

I feel so sick but it's more trouble calling in sick than to go in. I'm not sick enough to stay out but I feel so rotten, I'd love to stay in bed.

TA that the mangy Celtic Tiger seems to have come back to life. I rang my current car insurance company and told them I found a cheaper quote online. They wouldn't budge an inch, not a euro lower. In the days of the recession they were only too glad to get the business. How can a company think it's sense to lose 400 euro for the sake of 40? When I made that point it was "that's our price, ok".

If their quote was €400, they truly have no wiggle room left.

I was listening to the radio with my boyfriend earlier and someone won tickets for the Taylor Swift concert. I think she said she was 29 (same age as myself) and I just said flippantly she's a bit auld to be going to Taylor Swift..
"I thought you liked her?" He said..
"Ya years ago. Not anymore. She's a pain in the arse"..
He made a face there and then which made me realise without him even saying anything that he has gotten me Taylor Swift tickets for Christmas.

    Oops.

College exam at 12:30 today, set the alarm for 7 this morning, turned it off when it rang and said I’d give myself a few more minutes in bed.

3 minutes is all my bladder allowed me

Oh, that's where it went? Sorry. It's just a TA to me. :pac:

TA-ed at the LUAS this week - Green line. The carriages sometimes get so crowded at my stop that I can't get on for several trams. If one tram doesn't show up in peak times for some reason, that has a knock-on effect on the six or more trams that follow it - all jammed. For the last year, they've been extending the platforms for longer trams, so ...where are they?
