My guess all along is it will be Christmas day and I'm sticking with that guess.

^ 29th December seems to be floating around Trakt and various social media, but anyone's guess at this stage.

I think they are screwing with us in some bad attempt to build hype. Embargo is up tomorrow after being pushed back from the 4th. I can’t see them waiting until the end of the month.

Charlie might have an alternative queen's speech episode:D

It likely is in or around the Christmas/before New Years that we'll be getting new Black Mirror. Brooker isn't doing 2017 Wipe because of all of his other commitments, so makes me reckon it must be soon.

Absolutely phenomenal, Id go as a far as saying its one of the best original Netflix shows to date.

Its best watched in German with English subtitles, but the dubbing is decent enough if you prefer it in English. Can be a little off putting for some!

I found the dubbed version of Suburra: Blood on Rome almost unwatchable. The voice actors were awful. Then changed to Italian with English subs and it felt more proper.

Started watching Glitch again. Cannot remember a thing that happened last season.

It's great! Something OA-ish about it, but not quite.. 4 in and I am totally hooked.

For that to become the given identity of women is a profoundly disabling notion."

Someone recommended it on here last week so had a look. Turns out i’d watched the first episode last year but gave up because it was yet another ‘back from the dead’ series that seemed to be all over Netflix at the time.

    Now on Ep 6 and it’s a goodie. :)

Hell yes, easy watch in terms of every episode is a standalone story, but often an uneasy watch in terms of content and sheer darkness as you reach an episode's final moments. Only 13 episodes too so an easy binge before December 29th.

haha Black Mirror definitely not a bingeworthy show (hate that phrase anyway)

Its brilliant, but I find have to be in a certain calm mood to watch it and often leave it a while before watching another one

^ Ah yeah, but you could do roughly an episode a night..

I watched the first 2 (Channel 4 produced) seasons, and while it had its moments, the quality level was all over the place: when the scripts came together it was a pretty insightful, terrifying show of technological excess; but the other clutch of scripts came off as lazy shock-value stories, arbitrary twists at the end for no reason than the 'Twilight Zone' template they were working off. "The Waldo Moment" was so bad - and such a sudden gear-change - it made me laugh out loud and give up.

I love Charlie Brooker's work in general, but between Black Mirror & his other dramatic material (such as 'Dead Set'), I suspect as a writer he just can't stick the landings with these scripts.

Admittedly, I'm not a fan of anthology series at all, so it was never going to sit well with me that each episode is a hard reset on the universe just visited. I find the concept ... I dunno, intangible and impossible for me to get into 'cos there's never any permanence in the story so it all comes off as kinda redundant.

I feel like the first two seasons were slightly better than the 3rd season. With any anthology show, you're going to get mixed episodes. I just feel the episodes were better with lower budgets.

Don't think it's on Netflix but as we're discussing his back catalogue, Charlie Brooker's spoof cop show, A Touch of Cloth, was brilliant. It was just pun after pun after pun.

Yep, was great! I actually don't think I saw the third series.

Is it the one that was a bit like a really rude police squad/naked gun?
Oh I did like that a lot! Only saw series one

I'm not sure it was that rude, was it? It was more really silly puns and sight gags. John Hannah was in it.

Absolutely. I've still haven't seen all episodes and I'm a fan, I have to be in the right mood for it. I started the San Junipero episode but realised after a couple of minutes I'm not in the right mind set so stopped.

Ha ha, that was one of those shows that are stupid great.

"Rehab, yes. We had to shut down the cum spa. Clogged plug holes, unwanted pregnancies, that sort of thing."
