coin errors

Help in understanding errors please. for example on a old british copper first am I correct that this would be regarded as a mint error and not more common dirty over used die polish build up issue?? confusing stuff so hope I make sense. is this type of feint doubling of lettering a mint error of any premium

That's what's called a double die error, whether or not it's worth a little or a lot more than a standard coin really depends on what type of coin it is.

Can anyone with a Good knowledge of coins confirm if this is a blistering error they are steel coins but copper plated
