quick question, I found my dishwasher has a broken internal white cap on the roof of the inside of the unit. It means water is escaping during the cleaning process and hitting the underneath of the sink.

Does anyone know what this is used for, can I just seal it up or buy a new cap? I dont even know what they're called??

You would need to stop using the d/w until you have replaced that bung as the escaping water will make its way down to the circulation pump and burn it out. Get the model number off it as they were fitted with two different sizes

Just under €40 including postage for a piece of plastic!!! Think I might just have a go at sealing it myself
