People on DoneDeal, it's like they think saying "first to view will buy" and "must be seen" will actually make someone buy the car.

It's a decade old, feck off with the "car is mint condition". Could have at least spent 5 minutes cleaning the engine bay?

I'm confused, why stick an extra 4k on to the price in the space of 2 months?

    Profit!

I’m guessing someone bought it and doesn’t want it anymore.

    0-60 in 11.6 seconds!

Then why do I want it so bad :pac:

But more seriously, why is it advertised in the vintage section?

The ad says 'will deal in vintage'. I took that to mean he'd swap it for something vintage.

Ah its not that bad, its about 8 and a half for the 0 - 60. The automatic must kill a lot of those horses.

Vintage, Parts and a few other sections are cheaper to advertise in than the cars for sale. ;)

That's just awful, an E38 728i ONLY produced 190 hp... JAP CRAP 90s engines.

Yeah you're missing the point entirely.

To be fair VW were producing 1.9 diesels capable of that output in the 90s.

130bhp TDi were well within them limits with a simple remap.

PD? Thought they were 2000's... Open to corrections though

Technically the 115bhp pd is a 90's engine as I think it was an option on the 1999 Passat. The 130 didn't come along till 01 though.

Either way both Quazzie's and Fubo's points are pretty strange.

A v6 Camry was built to be a comfy cruiser with a mix of reliability, adequate power and frugality in countries that don't tax the bejesus outta cars over 2000cc if a man wanted just power he could have just bought a 2jzgte supra or aristo.

I think a lot of people missed the point.

Slow, massive tax, ugly, jap higher insurance and only a fücking Auris.

Utterly valueless, fit only for a crusher.
