Overheard a 17 year old (ish) saying he has never watched Scooby Doo.

To say I felt old & TA is a major understatement.

You should feel sorry for him, it means he didn't have a childhood.

I have to put eyedrops in the little ones eyes in the morning so she can be tested to see does she need glasses. I am dreading it :(

Tell her it's like when you go swimming, and you open your eyes underwater. Tbh you aren't lying, them drops are gentle enough :) also, a trick if she's awkward: get her to lie down flat on bed, close her eyes. Then put the drop on her lid, get her to open the eyes, and they just fall in easily :)

TA I know so much about eyedrops. I was shot in one of my eyes when I was nine

    Oh my God!

Hopefully I will be posting in the TH thread tomorrow. Her sister had to get eye drops a lot when she was little and panicked every time. She freaked out so much once she punched the nurse, the mortification :(. She happened to be referred to the local hospital for her next appointment and thought she had been barred from Crumlin, lol :)

It's definitely the thought of them as opposed to the drops themselves! Good luck with the glasses journey btw, I've worn glasses since the incident and it can be awkward with little ones, but they learn to love them fast :)

Another trick that usually works is that you pull out gently her lower lid so that it forms a little pocket, and put the drop in there.

My TA is that I've so many layers on that I look like the Michelin man (I even have a beanie on) and I'm still cold.

Genuinely hanging out my arse. Don't even have the energy to stand beside the kettle and wait for it to boil. Fcuk. I overdid the singing and have no voice. Lost a nail. Fraid to look at my snapchats.

I hear you sister! (Well, the first bit... :D )

This hangover is never-ending!!! (But I ordered Dominos, eating it in bed :P )

If I posted I was kettle-side I would have been inundated with orders for beverages.

TA people always jump to conclusions.

Now there's an idea. Cuts down on the "commute"

TA at people who go "Hi it's me" when they ring you.

Granted I am guilty of it at times too.

TA I haven’t been drinking this weekend but I’m eating around me.
Got a four star last night, they sent us the wrong pizza but himself wanted to keep it, even though it had a chilli sauce which burnt the hell out of us.
Went for the 5oz festive Supermacs burger today and had Chinese on Friday.
I think i’m great then in the gym all week, ffs

I have a long complicated multimedia assessment to do for next week, the lecturer said we had to submit x part of the assessment to a plagiarism site for clearing.
Did as I was told and got the all important report. Killed myself to finish the larger text submission, so I could submit it, get the report, hand it in and have a few days off. The upcoming semester will be hectic x 1000.
Not allowed submit this part as I shouldn't have submitted x part and now I'm going to lose days, while/if IT clear my account so I can start again.

TA'ed I worked so hard to have my time wasted by doing exactly what I was told by the "grown-up".
TA'ed I cant start on the new assignment, as it will not be released until next week, then it will be all rush rush as they'll all need to be submitted at the same time.
: mad:, there should be a crying emoticon.

    Dear housemate

Do you really need to put on a wash at 11pm on a Sunday? (Im in a downstairs bedroom beside kitchen)

There goes any hope of a semi early night

Dreading going to the hospital tomorrow. Just not in the humour for IVs at all at all. Not in the humour for CF, getting right on my nerves lately and I wish it would go and take a holiday.

Isn't the whole point of food delivery that you don't have to get dressed?!

Or else, every delivery dude out there thinks I dress like a homeless person who's confused about whether to go for a jog or go to bed.

I never get dressed either. Like I give two fawks from some dude thinks. Half of them drive up and hand the food out the window anyway.

    TA burnt my mouth.
