I read this and for a second I was imagining a Midnight Run style road movie.

    Netflix originals coming in December

    dec 1
    dark
Dark is a German-language supernatural thriller

    Voyeur
Voyeur Gerald Foos and Gay Telese discuss the former’s unusual hotelier habits (Photo: Cris Moris/Netflix) Watch the trailer What is it? Journalist Gay Telese’s feature length report on Gerald Foos, a Colorado motel owner who spent decades spying on his guests using an elaborate system of specially designed vents. Peering down from the observation platform he built in the motel’s attic, his journals documented patrons’ most private moments.

    dec 8
    The Crown season 2

    dec 12
    Judd Apatow: The Return
Judd Apatrow – a producer, director and writer behind films like Superbad, Get Him to the Greek and The Big Sick – started his career in stand-up, but hasn’t performed a show in 25 years. This Netflix special presents his long-awaited return to the format at Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival in July, and the teaser trailer includes some special (and discouraging) appearances from friends such as Amy Schumer and Chris Gethard.

    dec 15
    wormwood
Mixing interviews with dramatically shot reconstructions – all directed by Errol Morris (The Thin Blue Line) – Wormwood explores a man’s sixty-year quest to identify the circumstances of his father’s mysterious death. Peter Sarsgaard stars in a film that examines its case from every possible angle, bringing the viewer face-to-face with some of the United States’ darkest secrets.

    dec 22
    Bright
Bright stars Will Smith as a LAPD officer who teams up with another cop (Joel Edgerton) who also happens to be an Orc, in a world of both human and mythical creatures.

So true, based on that one film it must be awful and Ayer a bad director as it's not like he also wrote and directed films that were considered good, if only he had directed films like Fury, Sabotage, End of Watch, Harsh Times or Street Kings.

Written by Max Landis too. He wrote Chronicle and American Ultra which I really enjoyed. I'll definitely check it out.

Max Landis also did the new version of Dirk Gently, which is also on Netflix and a tonne of fun to watch.

Dunno though - the trailer for that Will Smith thing didn't look great. Would've loved someone like Guillermo del Toro doing it instead.

Breathless 1983 is leaving the 1st of Dec. I watched it the other night not expecting much from it apart from the fact Mark Kermode's been harping on about it for years claiming that it was better than Jean-Luc Godard's original and that its one of Quintin Tarnation's favourites ... clearly he took a few musical queues from this one into his own movies.

I really enjoyed it but understand its not going to be everybody's cup. Richard Gere is great and Valérie Kaprisky is sexy as F. Has one of the coolest shower/sex scenes I've seen in a movie with Elvis's Suspicious Minds playing in the background lol.

If anyone is stuck for something to watch, I would highly recommend Horns that was added today. I watched it a couple of years back and really enjoyed it.

That new series Godless looks interesting! Anyone tried it yet? Jeff Daniels and Jack O'Connell are in it.

If it's anything like Deadwood then I'll be delighted. Guardian 1 liner "netflix-wonderfully-wicked-western-fires-on-all-cylinders" sounds promising :D

Is there any word on when the 4th season of Black Mirror is expected? Third season came out around this time last year, but it's not on Netflix's list for December. Could they just drop it unannounced? Has Netflix done that before?
