Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He still seems bafflingly popular amongst the English darts fans, he'll have absolutely rabid support against MVG this afternoon so on those grounds he seems a shoe-in for a commentary role.

Realy really hope not, would definitely only watch in mute, I can tolerate Mardle and even Bobby George on the Beeb but that would be just too much, it would be all about him and you wouldnt even know who was playing.

They were playing out time halfway through. Anderson was playing so well Wright looked like he was going to ask for his autograph. A break and a new set of darts from Wright and he turned it upside down.
In all honestly I think Anderson would have been a better rival for MvG or Taylor in the final but serious darts and composure from Wright there.

Taylor really pulling the piss there with the 121 and then has a smirk and clap when MvG finishes.

Bossed by MvG and behaved like a dick lobbing darts at the board towards the end and not for the first time.
He was talking about respect last night.

Yep and MVG says in interview that Taylor came up to him in the break saying he shouldn’t be celebrating, prick

Fair play to Michael for mentioning what Taylor was up to at the intervals. He did well to hold his nerve and get the job done after that sort of carry on.

I'm not convinced that MVG isn't a little bit 'slow'

You'd think MVG could afford socks that stayed up. He's always at them.

The man just cant cope with the fact he's not the king anymore, playeres don't bow down to him anymore. Good riddance to him, hope he doesn't ruin the world's. He will have wade 2nd round and Anderson quater final, Van Gerwen in semis, so not a hope he wins it

Isn't Anderson fairly nailed on at being either 2 or 3 and thus on the opposite side to MVG? As I understand it his £300K win in 2016 WC won't come off his total until after the 2018 WC.

Also aren't the seedings still liable to be changed after the Players this weekend? Obv Taylor isn't there but could fall if the players below him go deep.

I get these kind of stats off a lad on Twitter called @bsd987 (Burton de vitt) he's normally bang on with his projected draws ect. The players championship won't change much at the top of the rankings as far as I know. You could be right too.
