David Omeara is on 99 for the year and there is a good chance the champagne will be flowing tonight as he hits the ton.

His best chance is probably Maraakib in the 8 15 and First Bombardment in the 9 15 at Chelmsford and I would not rule out Alfred Hutchinson who was 20/1 when I tried to post earlier this morning,he goes in the 7 15 and he also runs Highland Acclaim in the same race.

Highland Acclaim is 66/1 and races off 87,he won each time he was rated 87 winning 3 races off that mark and I cant rule him out.All Omearas have ew chances.

Finally I must mention Thunder Speed again,i tipped this last time. when it stepped up in distance and I have good word for it tonight.

Good racing today and winners may not be easy to find, the richest races at Chel and Lingfield are interesting and fast track entry to the big money good Friday meeting at Lingfield is on offer.

Minella Rocco ran a blinder in the Gold Cup last year and will be fancird by many for the 1 50 at Chel today, however the stats suggest that horses at the lower end of the handicap do best in this race and Doing Fine loves the track and stays well so I backed it ew at 5s.Minello Rocco may not be fully wound up yet with march in mind and may not be able to give the weight away.

I do not normally back front runners at Chel but I am making an exception in the case of the exciting Foxtail Hill who likes to go to the front and who jumps for fun,i put a few quid ew at 10s on last night as I thought it was value, though I know the race is very competitive and full of horses with potential, Chel 2 25.

Victory Bond impressed me last time when beating Boynton, there may not be much between them again today but I think Victory Bond will come out on top again today,i do not underestimate Boynton and Appleby likes to get his hoses qualified for good Friday.

Victory Bond has been highly tried and may be too good today in the 2 45 Lingfield at 11/4.

I will have a little ew on Out Do in the 3 15 Lingfield at a very big price 16/1 at the moment who likes big field races and has AW form.

    Wolves 6.15

This could be one of the best bets of the day.
Dougie costello would of had a choice of the 2 jamie osbourne horse and surprisingly opted for jos girl over la la land who would prob be fav if dougie was on it but his choice seems to have confused the market and la la land is weak.
I would have considered la la land the likely winner in this race so with dougie deserting him jos girl must have a serious chance at 7/1

You could be onto something as Jos Girl picked up well last time running on very well,if taking to the surface could have a big say
and I had a few quid on ew.

Small e/w on Old Guard in the greatwood tomorrow. Nicholls horses are in good form and any time I have heard him talk about this horse he clearly rates him.

    Worth a nibble at 25/1

I believe TIGRIS RIVER will win the very competitive Greatwood hurdle 3 oc Cheltenham tomorrow. It is very probable that he was put away for this after winning the Galway hurdle for J P McManus and the very good young trainer Joseph Obrien who is going to go right to the top.

I wanted to back this one tonight having gone through the race but because my account is with PP who is 8s about the horse while 12/1 is available in a few places.

I will try to get a friend to get the 12s for me.

that greatwood 2moro is of interest, ground is going be a slog, some good judges are pointing to the new one who at 16s seems tad big in a slog.

How come you only have a PP account?
For me a bet365 account at least is essential as they are usually top price and also do 1/4 odds for each way bets.

You are so right, was out tonight for a few drinks and a punter I know said the same thing and he also said if I deposit 200 I will get that much in free bets,it seems the way to go,thanks.

    It's nothing like Monopoly money.
It's no more dangerous than having money in your wallet walking past a bookies.

If you are constantly walking past bookies? Obviously is more dangerous to people with a problem when you have 24 hour access to gambling on a mobile device. Monopoly money may seem an ott description, but if someone has a problem bad enough...

PP are going 5 places on the Greatwood at 3 oc,that offer is online not sure about the shops, its generous as most will only pay 3 places.

I backed Tigris River at 9s ew and if he drifts all the better,he stays and has won over 2 and 1/2 miles so should be ok if its a bit of a slog.

The ground makes it a bit tricky so I reluctantly had to settle for the skinny 9s,but if Tigris struggled into 5th and I was on with one of the other bookies I would not be very happy.

365 are 5 places 1/4 of the odds.

But his point implied that it was dangerous for everyone. Obviously a problem gambler shouldn't have an online account, just like an recovering alcoholic shouldn't have drink in the house.
But so I don't see what's what is dangerous about those things for the rest of the population.

I agree that online gambling is dangerously addictive, the temptation to chase losses etc, and the bookies know this.
Fortunately you can now limit deposits and also now some companies such as boyles now offer the ability to pay into an account with cash, not using a credit or debit card, so you can only lose what you pay in. Obviously this can also be dangerous, but i feel its not as dangerous as linking your cards

Another trick is to do small stakes. Do 10 cent luckys so you still have an interest whilst the risk is small.
In fact small stake, large odds betting has been a very good source to me, you dont have to bet much on a 20-1 to get the a good return as you do with shorts. The temptation with shorts or faves betting is to lump on because thats the only way you get a decent return

Also, record your bets, youd be surprised how much you think you are doing well when you get 2 or 3 winners a day, but in reality the other losing bets means you are barely breaking even.

use only set stakes, I use a euro e/w or if really confident, 10 euro e/w, on 6-1 and over.

I now mainly bet on large price horses, and usually only handicap races 2 miles or more over tight courses. Its been very profitable .
Yesterday I bottled it and didnt post the winner, which came out of that system, and instead put in the fave, apologies there although the ones i did post did get some nice places

with big prices, you dont even need to win to make money

there are many ways to win, and i know a lady who only does 1 euro bets on names she likes and is one of the top tippers on william hill, the others hate her but she has win after win, betting on names with gold or diamond or royal in them lol

another trick is do the timeform top rated horses. Just by using a different email address you can get a free one day pass

so thats what ive learnt, rather painfully, over time!

good luck all with your bets

Tigris River was very disappointing and judging by the lack of support the ground may not have suited.

Whatever the case I done a few quid on the race but the day turned out well in the end.
