    Ridiculous from McManus

Scary to see think where that team would be without McManus.

He'd be first on my list if I could transfer one player into the Dublin team. Some talent and nice dude too.

That's what Monaghan have been thinking for years! Incredible player.

Is there different rules for each team regarding releasing the ball? Australia seem to get away with holding it until they go to ground.

Exactly . They are allowed a play when tackled and the whistle is blown when the Irish are tackled

    McManus is some point taker

Embarrassing how the Aussie players skill set with the round ball is far better than ours

Brendan Goddard has made some awesome saves.

I've enjoyed what I've seen so far this morning.

Not true. Australia hold onto the ball and distribute it before being fully on the ground.

Ireland hold it, drop it or fumble it, which is why the free is given. If they handpass it on their knees its ok.

Far to many marks being called , embarrassing how the aussies can get the better of us with round ball

Irish lads are running out of gas.

Great tackle from Touhy. Geaney really windy.

With exception of Morgan, AOS, Murphy and McManus - maybe I missed a few - others are pretty mediocre.

Don't mind Whelan but Gooch and Dolan,Cavanagh deserves a chance.

    Very enjoyable fare today.

Aussie player soloed which resets the hops as far as I remember. Deegan shafted himm

    Great save from Morgan.

The dubs would make some difference here. Some very average Irish players out there.

Need to be trying harder to work for a goal, it seems like any time an Irish lad is within range they have a crack at a point, and it's rarely coming off if it's not one of the main lads up front.

Aussies have been far superior since half time.
