Why wouldn't you get charged VAT?

Yeah it's UK so you are paying 20% VAT

Probably something to do with me not being able to read .. I thought it was on top of the advertised price rather than included..Then I decided to actually add and see I'm just being daft :o

1 Google Home + 2 Google Home Minis now ordered!

    Oh, no! Now worried!! :(

Exact same thing happened me, don't order from Curry's uk to parcel motel, it will be rejected and be a pain to get your money back.

Order from Google store that's what I did a few weeks back

Neither cancelled nor shipped yet. But at least google store has it at 79 until Nov 29, so worst case can order from there if cancelled. Assume all other stores the same, the coordinated price drop and price was too coincidental

Sorry should have posted this in here as well.

    FYI

For anyone thinking of cancelling there order with Curry's UK.

I cancelled my Google Home mini from Curry's UK (order made 15/11) for the Google Home on google site.

Order was still in processing, but they said that they couldn't cancel the order. They said what they could do was, watch the order and when it ships they would change the address to "return to sender" (Curry's UK). When they receive the google mini pack (Saturday most likely she said) they would refund my money back to my PayPal account.

Not ideal but hey what can you do.

I feel more confortable ordering through google.

Also out of 3 orders with curry's UK over the last 18months 1 of them was cancelled due to address (PM). All 3 orders were going to PM, so not sure why that one order got cancelled.

Didin't want the same to happen with this offer.

Just think the Google Home deal is too good to turn down.

Got the email from Google, order shipped. Nothing from Currys yet. If they ship too, I'll either keep it or sell it.

Yay a bargain rather then reading everyone's step by step delivery updates!

Yay a bargain rather then reading everyone's step by step delivery updates!

Well there was concern about some orders getting cancelled due to being sent to Parcel Motel etc so I thought they were a natural follow on to the bargains.

I get that but page after page of "yippee, it's processed" or "yay, I'll have mine tomorrow" gets a bit tedious in what is a bargain alerts thread.

Not a great start to Black Friday on Amazon UK.
