    2 questions:

    1. Will the student discount(10%) be available for Ireland via Studentbeans
    2. How long is the expected delivery if bought on the Tuesday, are they going to be in Ireland ready to go or where?

    No idea on the student discount but the phones will probably be dispatched from Poland. If you get express delivery then (barring exceptional circumstances) you'll probably have it in 2-3 days. I'd recommend the express delivery and they included this for free on launch day sales for the OP5 iirc

    Go to oneplus.net on launch day.
    Put one in your basket.
    Buy it.

    Oh they done away with that a couple of years back! :)

    Now you can just straight up buy them.
    Just got to be sure to be ready.
    I'd suggest creating an account now ahead of time and make sure you have funds on your credit card!

    Know what kind of case or bundle you'd like too. Can save some time on the day! Believe people were caught out with the OP5 in having one in their basket and then dithered over extras and failed to secure one

    I saw that too and thought it was a bit ambiguous and that the ET bit could just refer to US sales. Maybe all orders actually go through their US site? Has anyone seen any clearer statement on this?

    I didn't have a problem but I recall reading about people (perhaps in other markets, I don't remember now) to whom incidents like this did occur.

    I bought a oneplus 3 on launch day and they accidentally sent me a 2 pin charger - when I complained they sent me two 3 pin ones and let me keep the original!

    Received this today and can confirm its dashbcharge compatible. Looks identical to the one that comes with the phone.

    Answering my own question:

    ...I wonder if that includes a sillicone case? Silly that every answer begets more questions! Why not just take preorders? It's like they want their site to fall over so they can boast about demand.

    Smashed my old oneplus 3t last week, insurance told me it couldn't be fixed so paid out. Great timing, going to pick up one of these today so if anyone want's to PM me a referral link as I'll be buying one anyway.
