Baberstown to Clane Road closed

hello

I went to travel this road around 9:30 this morning to Clane, but it was closed off by a Garda car at the Baberstown roundabout.

Does anyone know why or what happened to make them close the road. I spoke to someone in celbridge and they said it was closed at 8am when they passed in but they also had no idea why

There's something going on around Maynooth and the general area - many checkpoints with ASU present and a mobile control station parked on the path at Manor Mills yesterday. Someone or something is being looked for.

Must be something big going on alright, now that you mentioned it. I passed an ARU Garda car opposite aldi in celbridge about half and hour later

I believe the Clane road was closed because of loose livestock.
