Overslept this morning, almost gave myself a hernia tearing around the house and skipped breakfast. Made it to the bus right on schedule so was delighted.

Except the bus was 43 minutes late. 43!!!!! You know what I could have done with those extra 43 minutes? Got an extra 15 in bed, had breakfast, and thrown on a bit of make up. All at a nice pace. I probably wouldn't have forgotten my lunch either.

But no, I spent it standing at the bus stop, freezing my balls off, panicking about being inevitably late for work.

When you go to your GP and the waiting area is full of people with colds, chest infections etc who are coughing everywhere and touching everything and breathing everywhere and you have to sit there trying not to get their diseases because you already have enough diseases.

Put a bottle of wine in the freezer last night to chill quickly. Couldn't be bothered waiting for it so opened a bottle or red instead. Freezer now has frozen rose all over it.

43 minutes late is a fcuking shambles. I think I'd murder the bus driver.

I wait in the hallway or outside when that happens. Can't cope with it at all!

It's going to be wet again in a few hrs. More than a TA at this stage for us farmers. A lot of jobs fecked up over the lack of a decent dry spell.

We must be syncing up ladies, be afraid men, be very afraid :p

Try some cold water on your dress and spray on some stain remover before you put it in the wash, if the fabric is suitable of course!

It's when there is a sudden uptake in rollerblading and wind surfing.

We certainly are syncing up, and I am as irritable as a bag of weasels :( I am picturing a TA thread coven :)

I hate when you go out for breakfast and there is a taste of hospital off of the fry. It is the only way I can describe it, a medical taste off of it.

35 minutes on the phone last night explaining that my "training video" is about what I say and do, NOT if/when the "student" is seen or how well he is seen. 35 minutes!:(:mad::(

I sympathize, I had a few mishaps back in the day. Delighted to be an ould one and those times are a distant memory.

    Dyson cordless vacuum cleaners.

Don’t get me wrong, Dysons are bloody brilliant, we have a plug in one and (had) a cordless one.

Cordless one is working as good as it did the day we bought it (3 years ago), and then suddenly nothing! Nada. Lights still come on when you pull the trigger, just no motor action.

Got onto Dyson tech support and describe the issue and they confirm that the battery is gone and needs replacing (they’ll do it for about €100, or do it myself via eBay for about €60)

It’s not like an iPhone battery where it gradually faded over time, and a full charge would only give you 5/10 minutes instead of 30 when it was new. No, it just decides “Füçk you BoBandy, this battery has decided it shall no longer provide power”

Extremely TA that you spend so much on something and after a finite amount of time, it renders itself useless!

Also TA that I just accidentally posted this in the TH thread!!

Sly fuckers who know how to play the HR department. Literally feel sick to my stomach after the day I've had. So annoyed that I've spent the whole week training someone in and being fucking lovely to that someone only to find out they're work shy and get their own way by crying to HR everytime they have to do a bit of work.
Also annoyed that I have to start job hunting when I need to be concentrating on college. And I wouldn't be in the best of health so all this shite isn't helping.

Starting anti virals today for 5 days. Have to take 5 tablets a day for 5 days. I already take 17 tablets a day!

Anyway, I'm having a right woe is me day. I suppose if I look on the bright side, at least my mouldy face will be sorted soon.

The witching hour approaches..... It is Friday evening the end of the working and academic week. Everybody is in from work/school/crèche. It should be a relaxing and peaceful time but NO not a chance. My usually quiet(ish) and (mostly) agreeable children turn into Satan's spawn from the moment their little bums hit the car on collection.... Oh how long til bedtime?

I genuinely got excited and checked the Discovery Channel listings whilst wondering why people were upset that the annual weekly series of everyone's favourite sea predator was on.

"Don't watch it then ta fuq"

TA that Shark Week is in fact not on!
