    Hello, I found a medal. the back is written An connrad naisiunta what does it mean ?? someone will help

    Sounds like it might be connected to Conradh na Gaeilge rather than GAA,

    Not C na G "conradh/connrad" means league in Irish, its a national hurling league medal

    National hurling league is called An sraith iomána. Conradh na Gaeilge means Gaelic League.

    So jury is still out :-)

    I'll bet the GAA were calling the league "conradh" back in the day

    Well, Cork did win the league in 1972 so almost prepared to concede!


    Are letters faded? Although I think Cocaí was or is one version of Irish spelling of Cork.
