Its always been my go to when i need a laugh. Hopefully this means they'll be airing the new season as its released in America

Have you watched Don't trust the B in Apartment 23. I binged through the first two season a couple of weeks ago and thought it was the funniest show I've seen in a long, long while... completely took me by surprise and I went in with the lowest of expectation's. James Van Der Beek and Kirsten Ritter are great in it. Cancelled now unfortunately.

RTE used to show it, Van Der Beek is great at basically sending himself up.

Just finished it now. Lots of twists and turns, great ending.

It was mentioned a few times in the old thread but I watched Eddie the Eagle tonight and it's delightful. Just a real feel good joyful film.

Ah just watched this, loved it! Perfect viewing for a grim grey Saturday morning, really cheered me up. :) Thanks for the recommendation!!

Yeh. It’s a pity that Netflix don’t pick it up as an independent production.

Ya it was great but I was just thinking if u were working in that unit, I think u would be paranoid about everyone being corrupt.

    Was there a season 4?

Yes there was a fourth season on bbc earlier this great. If I remember correctly it was a great season, one of the best. There are plans for 2 more seasons. However I think season 5 will be on bbc next year.

Unfortunately both netflix and rte are way behind showing season 4.

JRR Tolkien family in talks to sell Lord of the rings TV rights.

Would much prefer a Falconhoof TV show...

Yea, there was a Season 4 of Line of Duty with Thandie Newton. She put in an utterly fantastic performance. I kind of think Season 3 was somewhat better.

No, but he was incredibly badly injured by one of the people.

I watched it when it came out last November and it was shocking to see the parallels to Trump's campaign at that point. He hadn't won when it was finished. Now, I'd imagine it's even more depressing to watch. The ALEC stuff is terrifying.

I finally started S2 of Stranger Things. Don't want to go in the ST thread in case of spoilers. It's not really grabbing me the way the first one did. Just finished episode 3 and it does seem to be picking up a bit but I'm sure I was fully invested by this same point last season.

Season 1 is great, maybe not as amazing as some people make it out to be but well worth watcching

Season 2 is worth a watch for Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams but Vince Vaughan is so god damn awful in it it kinda ruined it.

    That's True Detective.
