I also have your type of radiator knobs, I close down the first one nearest the boiler and then open it one half circle, the next radiator I open it one circle, the next one and a half circles, it the next one away from boiler 2 circles, the next 2 and a half circles, the furthest one away from radiator I leave open fully, it balances out the heat in my gaff
