Switch current account to BOI

    [font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Is there an online process for switching my current account to Bank of Ireland?  I went to the Switch to Bank of Ireland page here:[/font]

    [font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]h t t p s://personalbanking.bankofireland.com/campaigns/switch-to-bank-of-ireland/[/font]

    [font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]It has an "Apply Online" button which i clicked an filled out the forms but at no point does it ask for my existing bank details or a switching date, so it seems it actually has nothing to do with switching.[/font]

    [font=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]If the only way for me to do this is in branch then can you please tell me what documents I need to bring with me.[/font]

    The link above appears to be an online application for a current account with BOI, and wouldn't necessarily deal with a switch. You can call the account opening team on 1890 365 100 to discuss this further, or please click here to download the switching form to fill out and drop into your local BOI branch.
